Since teachers were in the hallways, students had worked harder than before, because they saw their hard-working and serious teachers do their best like themselves in the hallways. When they had problems that they couldn’t solve, they just walked out of the classroom and asked teachers for help.
So if you came to No. 42 Middle School, you would see such a warm scene: teachers sat in front of the desk, patient counseling, while students asked teachers for advice politely and patiently. Teachers and students were all absorbed in their work, sometimes they smiled to each other, harmonious and beautiful.
One-yuan Meal
How much do you think these cost: a small dish of chicken, some slices of eggplant, a bowl of rice or a bowl of beef noodles and egg soup?
If it is in a restaurant, it may cost you 20 yuan and in a cafeteria, at least 7or 8RMB. But those only need one yuan in the canteen of No. 42 Middle School!

Students participated in the intense study actively before the coming entrance examination. As we all know, learning is not only heavy brain work, but also consumes huge energy. When the leaders of No. 42 Middle School saw every student work hard, they felt pleased but anxious. Because they saw many Senior 3 students who were excellent in character and learning but had poor living conditions eat simply every day.

The Senior 3 children were under more pressure than the others originally, especially they studied hard. If they couldn’t eat well, it would be bad for their health.

If you go to No. 9 Middle School or No. 5 Middle School by bike, it takes you about ten minutes. But it was such a short distance, No. 42 Middle School still arranged a number of air-conditioned buses to send students to take the entrance examination in order that they could do it happily, safely and conveniently.
