On August 28th, Shijiazhuang 42nd Middle School received four students from Thailand- "AYC International Cultural Exchange Centre". Their Chinese names are: Xu Weini, Zhang Qiuzhong, Zhang Meiyu. They will be learning Chinese and experiencing cultural activities for one year in our school. Ms. Zhang Yanyan picked them up from the airport and escorted them to host families.
        In order to satisfy the urgent requirement of learning Chinese and experiencing Chinese culture, professional Chinese teachers teach them Chinese lessons in their own classroom in the morning. While in the afternoon, they walk into the ordinary Chinese classes. The school offers cultural classes for them as well such as: Taichi, Chinese calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting etc. The students take part in a series of culture-experiencing activities. They visited the Folk Museum, Hebei Museum, and the revolutionary site Xibaipo, as well as the Martyr Cemetery.
