On April 12th, 2008, when I got the news that I could go to Beijing Foreign Studies University. I was so excited that I cried because I was extremely happy. I knew my dream was near one step. Thanks for my old school- Shijiazhuang No. 42 Middle School.
    As is known to all, Shijiazhuang No. 42 Middle School – the international foreign language school of Hebei Province is the key secondary schools, Hebei province model high school. The slogan on the school building has been "all for students, for all students and for students all applicants." This school provides the students with excellent teachers, wise leaders and perfect equipments. Each of the students in this school has a chance to go abroad.
     My old school entered the AFS international cultural exchange project in 2005.Iwas the first group to go abroad to study further as an AFS exchange student. I studied and lived in Argentina for about a year. The AFS project is an international cultural exchanges .The purpose of the exchange project is to communicate culture and disseminate peace. In Argentina ,I have not only integrated into the local life, but also learned about the local culture and gave seven speeches on our country culture in order to represent the people all over the world our long history and splendid culture.
     During the year of cultural exchanges, I had my dream that I wanted to be an outstanding diplomat and make the world peaceful.
     After going back to my old school, I went on studying in the second grade of the senior school. Since I missed one year’s lessons , a lot of leaders gave me more care about my study and life and arranged me in a class of teacher Tianlixia-an experienced head teacher. All the teachers who gave me lessons had rich experience and tried their best to do everything well. When I met difficulties in study and any other ways, my teachers were always patient with me until I understood. All the teachers treated every student as their children not only for me but also for others. The students in our school work hard at every subject and help each other. Thanks to the good learning environment, I am confident that my dream must come true.
     When I was in the third year of the senior school, I was stressed out and felt nervous. Mrs Zhang, the director of the foreign office in charge of AFS project told me that Beijing Foreign Studies University was the cradle of diplomats and you believe you can .
      At last, I made a study plan and worked hard every day. I never gave up other subjects, although I only needed English and Chinese to prepare for it. Math makes me clever. Politics makes me believe myself. History makes me know what’s right or wrong.
     Now I went into Beijing Foreign Studies University that I dreamed of. Thanks for the alma mater, all the teachers and students who cared for me. let me take the most sincere blessings. I hope my alma mater is on!
